More about Caroline Richardson
Delicate and charming, portrait artist Caroline’s contemporary still-life and portrait compositions, using traditional methods, hang in homes all over the world.
Her minimal palette and soft focus evoke a feeling of calm and serenity and capture a glamour from a bygone era. In her relatively short career as a professional artist, she has built a keen following and gained a number of high-profile commissions.

Caroline started painting professionally in 2014, after working as a graphic designer for the best part of 20 years. Over the last few years she has trained intermittently with tutors from the Charles H Cecil atelier in Florence and more recently, the London Atelier of Representational Art and believes it is important to keep learning and seek improvement.

Whilst Caroline paints in a traditional style, her subject matter reflects modern life.
"Most of my time is occupied by figurative and portrait work, but I very much enjoy still-life painting, and more recently I have been experimenting with floral compositions."
